Abandon thought all
Ye who would attain sacred
Understanding. See.
Today's Meditation
Contradicts the Stoic thought.
Much more to ponder.
Duality of
Focus confuses my search.
Enlightenment waits.
From The Daily Stoic:
Using reason to choose, to act rather than react, is my power. I am in charge of this and nothing else.
If I do wrong, it is because I chose so. If I act virtuously, it is because I chose so.
My thoughts can be directed to virtue if I choose to make that my goal.
I must practice living in accordance with wisdom, justice, courage, and moderation.
