"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.”  Hamlet, Act II, Scene 2

Feelings are neither good or bad, but thinking makes them so.

Feelings just are. It's a common thread for Stoics and Buddhists. We practice awareness of our feelings: What are they? What occasioned them? Accept them. Own them. If necessary, transform them into a better way.

Shed cowardice for stoutheartedness. Let impatience give way to forbearance. Anger to gentleness.
