Feelings are neither good or bad, but thinking makes them so.
Feelings just are. It's a common thread for Stoics and Buddhists. We practice awareness of our feelings: What are they? What occasioned them? Accept them. Own them. If necessary, transform them into a better way.
Shed cowardice for stoutheartedness. Let impatience give way to forbearance. Anger to gentleness.
