Discourses, 3.21.1-3 (Waterfield)

I wish so badly to instill the basics of philosophy in my children. But I am an unworthy teacher. I've tried, but my only success #⃣ been when following the lead of the another, reading a book with them and reviewing it.

Since I am unable to adequately defend my Stoicism, try as I might, I can only hope that I am able to at least live something of an example for them.

That, plus the readings, is what I can do so it is what I do.
