241109 What I learned in my studies this morning 4

Today's Meditation(s):

Tao Te Ching, 49 (Gia-fu Feng and Jane English)

What others do is not up to me. I must fulfill my role and be good, be faithful, be shy and humble. Do this in conjunction with, or despite, what others do.

If someone is rude, I don't get to be rude. If someone is inconsiderate or cruel, I remain considerate and kind.

People are. No world exists without them. Since I must deal with them, I get to choose how I do that. If I want to be good, if I want to continue my prokoptonic path, I will deal with them in a spirit of cooperation, harmony, love, kindness, assistance, and cosmopolitanism.

They are my tribe.

Me and my brothers and my cousins with the world.
