Better and better.
And the center? It can hold.
Does that matter? Yes.

It's long. It's complex. It's intricate. It's challenging. It's true. It's gorgeous.
It's a personal version of Epictetus' first lesson. "Ta eph’hemin, ta ouk eph’hemin" "What is up to us, what is not up to us."
I have to remind myself that I'm reading words he never meant to publish: these are private thoughts meant to guide the author and no one else.
